1 Name This instrument is the Fisheries Management (Fish Receiver Permits) Declaration 2018.
2 Commencement This instrument commences the day after registration on the Federal Register of Legislation.
3 Authority This instrument is made under section 91 of the Act.
4 Definitions Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 4 of the Act, including the following: (a) fishery; (b) fishing permit. In this instrument: Act means the Fisheries Management Act 1991. Coral Sea Fishery means the fishery in the area described in Part 2 of Schedule 1A of the Regulations for which fishing permits have been granted under section 32 of the Act. Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery means the fishery described as the area of the fishery in Schedule 1 of the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Management Plan 2010. Norfolk Island Offshore Demersal Finfish Fishery means the fishery in the area described in Part 5A of Schedule 1A of the Regulations for which fishing permits have been granted under section 32 of the Act. Regulations means the Fisheries Management Regulations 1992. Small Pelagic Fishery means the fishery described as the sub-areas of the fishery in Schedule 1 of the Small Pelagic Fishery Management Plan 2009. Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery means the fishery described as the area of the fishery in Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Management Plan 2003. Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery means the fishery described as the SBT Fishery in section 3.1 of the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995. Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery means the fishery described as the area of the fishery for an Australian boat in section 3 of the Western Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2005.
