1 Name This instrument is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) (Catastrophic Injury) Rules 2018.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 122A(1) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988.
4 Purpose The purpose of this instrument is to prescribe conditions that must be satisfied for the purpose of the definition of catastrophic injury in section 4 of the Act.
5 Definitions In this instrument:
Act means the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988.
