Part 1 – Preliminary

1 Name (1) This instrument is the Migration Regulations (LIN 18/081: Specification of Regional Areas for a Safe Haven Enterprise Visa) Instrument 2018. (2) This instrument may be cited as LIN 18/081.

2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after registration on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subitem 1404(4) of Schedule 1 to the Migration Regulations 1994.

4 Definitions In this instrument: Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.

5 Schedules Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Instrument has effect according to its terms.

Part 2 – Specified regional areas

6 Specified regional areas For the purposes of paragraph 1404(3)(e) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and subparagraphs 2.06AAB(2)(a)(i) and (ii) of the Regulations, the following regional areas are specified:
