1 Name This instrument is the Industry Research and Development (PSMA Australia Limited Concessional Loan Program) Instrument 2019.

2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under section 33 of the Industry Research and Development Act 1986.

4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the Industry Research and Development Act 1986. program means the PSMA Australia Limited Concessional Loan Program. PSMA means PSMA Australia Limited.

5 Prescribed program (1) For the purposes of subsection 33(1) of the Act, the program is prescribed. (2) The program provides funding, in the form of a concessional loan, to enable PSMA to: (a) upgrade information technology infrastructure; and (b) develop organisational and staff capability in project management, information technology and data science. (3) The purpose of the program is: (a) to improve the accessibility and useability of PSMA's spatial data products; and (b) to enhance PSMA's ability to assist with delivery of future national spatial data priorities that require a coordinated national approach.
