Telecommunications (Revocation of International Mobile Roaming Industry Standard) Direction 2019
I, PAUL WILLIAM FLETCHER, Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts, issue the following Direction under subsection 125AA(4) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.

1 Name This Direction is the Telecommunications (Revocation of International Mobile Roaming Industry Standard) Direction 2019.
2 Commencement This Direction commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Repeal of this Direction This Direction is repealed on the day after the Standard referred to in section 6 of this instrument is revoked.
4 Authority This Direction is made under subsection 125AA(4) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
5 Definitions In this Direction: ACMA means the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Act means the Telecommunications Act 1997. Standard means the Telecommunications (International Mobile Roaming) Industry Standard 2013.
6 Direction
(1) I direct the ACMA to revoke the Standard made under subsection 125AA(1) of the Act. (2) The Standard is to be revoked no later than 9 months after the date this Direction commences.
