1 Name This Instrument is the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated and Declared Persons – Democratic People's Republic of Korea) Continuing Effect Declaration and Designation Instrument 2019.
2 Commencement
This Instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority This Instrument is made under subregulations 6(1) and 9(3) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.
4 Designations and declarations to continue to have effect For subregulation 9(3) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each of the persons listed in an item in Part 1 of Schedule 1: (a) is, or has been, associated with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's weapons of mass destruction program or missiles program; or (b) is assisting or has assisted, in the violation, or evasion, by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea of: Resolution 825, 1540, 1695, 1718, 1874, 1887, 2087, 2094, 2270 or 2321 of the United Nations Security Council or a subsequent relevant resolution; and each person's designation as a designated person and declaration as a declared person in Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities – Democratic People's Republic of Korea) List 2012 is declared to continue to have effect.
