1 Name This instrument is the Social Security (Administration) (Excluded Goods – section 123TI) Specification 2020.

2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under paragraph 123TI(1)(d) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999. fermenter means a container that could be used for the purpose of fermentation. home-brew concentrate means: (a) a substance, that includes malt and hops, ordinarily used for brewing beer; or (b) wort; or (c) grape concentrate ordinarily used for making wine. home-brew kit means a kit that includes all the following: (a) a fermenter; (b) an airlock; (c) a thermometer.
