1 Name This instrument is the Legislation (Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Instruments) Sunset-altering Declaration 2020.

2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 51A(1) of the Legislation Act 2003.

4 Aligning of sunsetting The following instruments are repealed by section 51A of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 October 2025: (a) the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Regulations 2010; (b) the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Determination 2016; (c) the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure (Disclosure Affected Buildings) Determination 2016.
