Part 1—Preliminary 1 Name This instrument is the National Land Transport Network Determination 2020. 2 Commencement This instrument commences on 1 July 2020. 3 Authority This instrument is made under section 5 of the National Land Transport Act 2014. 4 Schedule Each instrument that is specified in Schedule 3 to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms. 5 Determination of Network
(1) A National Land Transport Network is determined.
(2) The National Land Transport Network consists of the following:
(a) the existing and proposed roads described in Schedule 1; and
(b) the existing and proposed railways described in Schedule 2.
Note: The expressions "railway" and "road" are defined in subsection 4(1) of the National Land Transport Act 2014.
