AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001 (1) of CASR. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct an unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Swift Museum Foundation GC-1A and GC-1B Series Aeroplanes
AD/GC-1/1 State of Design Airworthiness Directives 18/2020
Applicability: Swift Museum Foundation Inc. GC-1A and GC-1B.
Requirement: 1. Determine the applicability of the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directives (AD) listed in Table 1.
2. If it is determined that an FAA AD listed in Table 1, as in force from time to time, is applicable and has not been previously accomplished, perform the actions required by that AD.

Note 2: The words "as in force from time to time" require compliance with the most recent version of the referenced document.
Compliance: If a certificate of airworthiness has not been issued for the aircraft - before issue of the certificate of airworthiness.
If a certificate of airworthiness has been issued for the aircraft - within 6 months after the commencement date of this Directive.
This AD commences on 17 September 2020.
Background: The FAA ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require once-only actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to Australian registered aircraft. This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs are complied with.
CASA appreciates that, due to date of aircraft manufacture or aircraft configuration and modification status, some of the ADs listed in Table 1 will not be applicable to some aeroplanes.
