1. SCOPE

1. This vehicle standard defines limits on external noise generated by road motor vehicles in order to limit the contribution of motor traffic to community noise. 2. APPLICABILITY AND IMPLEMENTATION

1. This vehicle standard applies to road vehicles of the vehicle categories and from the dates specified in the applicability table in subsection 2.2.
