Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992 - Notice of Declarations and Specifications (25/05/1993)
1 Name This instrument is the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation (Specified Diseases and Employment) Instrument 2021.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
3 Authority This instrument is made under paragraph 10(1)(b) of the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992.
4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992. disease has its ordinary meaning. substance means any natural or artificial substance, whether in the form of a solid, liquid, gas or vapour.
5 Application This instrument applies in relation to a disease that an employee suffers on or after the day this instrument commences.
6 Schedules Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
