Witness Protection (Approved Authority) Declaration 2021
I, Peter Dutton, Minister for Home Affairs, acting under subparagraph (c)(ii) of the definition of approved authority in section 3 of the Witness Protection Act 1994 (the Act), declare the Department of Home Affairs to be an approved authority for the purposes of the Act. This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
