Inspector-General of Taxation (Acting Arrangements) Appointment (No. 1) 2021
I, Michael Sukkar, Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Housing, and Minister for Homelessness, Social and Community Housing, under section 29 of the Inspector-General of Taxation Act 2003 and subparagraph 33A(1)(b)(i) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, appoint David Pengilley to act as the Inspector-General of Taxation, on the following terms and conditions: (a) on a full-time basis; and (b) other than as specified in paragraph (c), on the same terms and conditions on which Mr Pengilley is engaged under the Public Service Act 1999 as at the date of this signed instrument; and (c) on a salary of $280,752 per annum (pro-rated in accordance with the terms and conditions referred to in paragraph (b)); and (d) for the period 16 December 2021 to 7 January 2022.
