Part 1 – Preliminary

1 Name (1) This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 18/084: Specification of ETA-Eligible Passports) Instrument 2018. (2) This instrument may be cited as IMMI 18/084.

3 Authority This instrument is made under regulation 1.11B(1) of the Migration Regulations 1994.

4 Definitions In this instrument: ETA means Electronic Travel Authority. Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.

5 Schedules Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Part 2 – Specified ETA-Eligible Passports

6 ETA- Eligible Passports For the purposes of subregulation 1.11B(1) of the Regulations, a passport is an ETA-eligible passport in relation to an application for a visa if in the table in Schedule 1: (a) the passport is listed in Column 1; and (b) the conditions specified in Column 2 for the corresponding passport specified in Column 1 are satisfied.

7 Application of this instrument This instrument applies to an application for a visa made on or after the commencement of this instrument.
