1 Name This instrument is the Commonwealth Electoral (Secure Telephone Voting Method for Coronavirus Affected Individuals) Determination 2022.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 202AFA(1) of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918.
4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918.
5 Coronavirus affected individuals may use a secure telephone voting method For the purposes of subsection 202AFA(1) of the Act, the method referred to in that subsection is determined for the individuals referred to in that subsection in relation to the general election and Senate election to be held in the year beginning 1 January 2022.
