NAME OF STANDARD 0.1.1. This Standard is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 75/00 – Headlamp Cleaners) 2006. 0.1.2. This Standard may also be cited as Australian Design Rule 75/00 — Headlamp Cleaners. 1. SCOPE 1. This Australian Design Rule (ADRs) prescribes the requirements for the installation and testing of headlamp cleaners which are fitted to motor vehicles. 2. APPLICABILITY AND IMPLEMENTATION 1. The circumstances under which headlamp cleaners are mandatory, optional, or prohibited are set out in either ADRs 13/…, 19/… or 67/…. 3. DEFINITIONS 1. Refer to paragraph 2 of Appendix A. 4. REQUIREMENTS 1. Headlamp cleaners fitted to vehicles in accordance with ADR 13/...and required to comply with this ADR must comply with either: a) The technical requirements of Appendix A as varied by part 5 Exemptions; or b) The alternative standards set out in part 7 Alternative Standards. 5. EXEMPTIONS AND ALTERNATIVE PROCEDURES 5.1. The following provisions of appendix A do not apply. 5.1.1. Section 3 Application for approval
