1 Name This instrument is the Defence (Individual Benefits) Determination 2023 (No. 5).
2 Commencement This Determination commences on the day after registration.
3 Authority This Determination is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.
4 Application This Determination applies to the member who holds employee identification number 8085049 during the following period. 1. Starting on 1 May 2023. 2. Ending on 30 July 2023.
5 Definitions In this Determination, the following apply. Higher duties means the duties of the position with position number 621386.
6 Additional payment for higher duties performed before 25 May 2023 1. Subject to subsection 2, the member is to be paid $948.24 for each fortnight of higher duties performed by the member during the period starting 1 May 2023 and ending 24 May 2023. 2. For any incomplete fortnight of higher duties performed by the member during the period, the member is eligible for a pro rata payment of the amount in subsection 1 for the days the member performed the higher duties in the fortnight, calculated using the following formula.
