1 Name of Marine Order This Marine Order is Marine Orders Amendment (Marine Order 27 — consequential changes) Order 2023.
2 Commencement This Marine Order commences immediately after the commencement of Marine Order 27 (Safety of navigation and radio equipment) 2023.
3 Amendment of Marine Orders Each Marine Order mentioned in the name of a Division in Schedule 1 to this Marine Order is amended in accordance with that Division.

[1] Section 5, after definition of decision maker insert EPIRB means a transmitter operating in the frequency band 406.0-406.1 MHz capable of transmitting a distress alert via satellite to a rescue coordination centre and transmitting signals for on-scene locating.
