ADMIN 23/054 AusCheck (Background Checks—Indo-Pacific Quadrilateral Dialogue 2023) Declaration 2023 I, Clare O'Neil, Minister for Home Affairs, under section 21F of the AusCheck Regulations 2017, declare: (a) that background checks of individuals in connection with MNE accreditation in relation to the Indo-Pacific Quadrilateral Dialogue 2023 must include assessment of information relating to the matters mentioned in: (i) paragraphs 5(b), (c) and (d) of the AusCheck Act 2007 (the Act); and (ii) for background checks of individuals aged 18 years or over—paragraph 5(a) of the Act; and (b) that the assessment of information relating to the matter mentioned in paragraph 5(d) of the Act must consist of an electronic identity verification check. This instrument commences immediately after the commencement of the AusCheck (Major National Event—Indo-Pacific Quadrilateral Dialogue 2023) Declaration 2023.
