This Ruling applies from 1 July 2023 to specified entities in relation to Annuities purchased from 1 July 2023 until 30 June 2026. LCTD 2023/1 Luxury car tax: how to determine the principal purpose of a vehicle This Determination explains how to determine the principal purpose of a car for the purposes of the A New Tax (Luxury Car Tax) Act 1999.This Determination applies both before and after its date of issue.
