1 Name This instrument is the Legislation (Autonomous Sanctions Instruments) Sunset‑altering Declaration 2024.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 51A(1) of the Legislation Act 2003.
4 Aligning of sunsetting The following instruments are repealed by section 51A of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 October 2027: (a) Autonomous Sanctions (Export Sanctioned Goods – Syria) Designation 2012; (b) Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011; (c) Autonomous Sanctions (Russia, Crimea and Sevastopol) Specification 2015; (d) Autonomous Sanctions (Sanction Law) Declaration 2012. Note: The Legislation (Deferral of Sunsetting—Autonomous Sanctions Instruments) Certificate 2022 provided for the sunsetting day of the instruments listed at paragraphs (a), (b) and (d) to be deferred to 1 April 2024.
