1 Name This instrument is the Legislation (Deferral of Sunsetting—Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations) Certificate 2024.

3 Authority This instrument is made under paragraph 51(1)(c) of the Legislation Act 2003.

4 Deferral of sunsetting The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, for which the sunsetting day is 1 April 2024, is repealed by section 51 of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 April 2026. Note: The Legislation (Environment Protection Instruments) Sunset‑altering Declaration 2018 declared the sunsetting day of 1 April 2024 for the above instrument.
