1 Name of legislative instrument This is the ASIC Corporations (Approval of February 2025 Banking Code of Practice) Instrument 2024/523.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on 28 February 2025.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 1101A(1) of the Corporations Act 2001.
4 Definitions In this instrument: February 2025 Banking Code of Practice means the Banking Code of Practice provided to ASIC by the Australian Banking Association Limited (ABN 60 117 262 978) on 24 June 2024. Note: The February 2025 Banking Code of Practice will be available on the website of the Australian Banking Association Limited shortly after this instrument is made. The February 2025 Banking Code of Practice, under its terms, takes effect from 28 February 2025.
