Veterans' Entitlements (Special Disability Trust—Limit on Expenditure for Other Purposes) Determination 2024
I, Brian Eastman, a delegate of the Repatriation Commission, make the following determination under subsection 52ZZZWEA(3) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986.

1 Name This instrument is the Veterans' Entitlements (Special Disability Trust—Limit on Expenditure for Other Purposes) Determination 2024.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after the day it is registered.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 52ZZZWEA(3) of the Act.
4 Definitions Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in the Act, including the following: (a) special disability trust (see section 52ZZZW); (b) tax year (see section 5Q). In this instrument: Act means the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986.
5 Schedules Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
6 Limit on expenditure for purposes other than primary purpose For the purposes of subsection 52ZZZWEA(3) of the Act, the total value of income and assets of a special disability trust that may be applied in the tax year beginning on 1 July 2024 is $14,500.
