Part 1—Preliminary

1 Name of legislative instrument This is the ASIC Market Integrity Rules (Securities Markets) Determination 2024/912.

2 Commencement This instrument commences on the later of: (a) 8 January 2025; and (b) 20 business days after the day this instrument is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation. Note: The register may be accessed at www.legislation.gov.au.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subrule 6.2.1(4) of the ASIC Market Integrity Rules (Securities Markets) 2017 (Rules).

4 Interpretation (1) In this instrument, unless the contrary intention appears, capitalised terms have the same meaning as in the Rules. (2) In this instrument, stock code, in relation to an Equity Market Product, means the unique symbol assigned to the Equity Market Product under Rule 9.2.3 of the Rules.

Part 2—Determination

5 Tier 1 Equity Market Products and Tier 2 Equity Market Products (1) Each Equity Market Product whose stock code is set out in the table in Schedule 1 to this instrument is a Tier 1 Equity Market Product. (2) Each Equity Market Product whose stock code is set out in the table in Schedule 2 to this instrument is a Tier 2 Equity Market Product.
