1 Name This instrument is the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Legislation (Repeal and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2024.

2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedules 1 and 2 At the same time as the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Safety) Regulations 2024 commence. 12 June 2025 However, the provisions do not commence at all if that instrument does not commence. 3. Schedule 3 The later of: 11 December 2024 (a) the start of the day after this instrument is registered; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of items 36 and 37 of Schedule 2 to the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Legislation Amendment (Safety and Other Measures) Act 2024.
