Variation to Licence Area Plan – Longreach Radio – 2024 (No. 1)
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1 Name This is the Variation to Licence Area Plan – Longreach Radio – 2024 (No. 1).
2 Commencement This instrument commences at the start of the day after the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
4 Amendments The Licence Area Plan – Longreach (Radio) – August 1996 (F2005B01110) is varied as follows:
1. omit the title page;
2. rename the instrument as the 'Licence Area Plan – Longreach Radio';
3. number each of the clauses under the heading 'DETERMINATION' as (1) and (2).
4. omit clause (1), substitute:
1. This plan for broadcasting services in the Longreach area of Queensland is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
1. in clause (2) omit each occurrence of "Determination", substitute "plan";
2. after clause (2), insert clauses (3) to (7):
1. For the area mentioned in clause (2), the Schedule mentioned in that clause specifies the radiocommunications transmitters planned for the provision of broadcasting services in that area by reference to: 1. the Attachment that determines the technical specifications for each transmitter; and 2. the frequency on which each transmitter is planned to operate and the approximate geographic area each transmitter is planned to serve; and 3. the technical specification number for each transmitter and, for a transmitter planned for the provision of a service under a broadcasting services bands licence, the licence number of that licence.
