Reserve Bank (Governance Board Members) Appointments (No. 1) 2024
I, Jim Chalmers, Treasurer, under subsection 25NB(1) of the Reserve Bank Act 1959 and subsection 4(2) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, appoint the following persons, on a part-time basis, as external Governance Board members: (a) Ms Carol Schwartz AO, for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 28 February 2027; (b) Ms Elaine (Elana) Rubin AM, for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 31 August 2028; (c) Ms Swati Dave, for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 31 August 2029; (d) Mr David Thodey AO, for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 31 August 2029; (e) Mr Daniel (Danny) Gilbert AM, for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 28 February 2030; (f) Ms Jennifer Westacott AO for the period beginning on 1 March 2025 until 28 February 2030.
