1 Name This instrument is the Net Zero Economy Authority (Torrens Island Power Station Geographic Area) Instrument 2024
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under subsection 8(1) of the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.
4 Definitions
Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 5 of the Act, including the following: 1. National Electricity Rules; and 2. geographic area.
In this instrument:
Act means the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.
Statistical Area Level 3 has the same meaning as in the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3.
Dispatchable Unit Identifier has the same meaning as in the National Electricity Rules.
5 Geographic area specification
1. For the purposes of subsection 8(1) of the Act, this instrument specifies the following Statistical Areas Level 3 as the geographic area in relation to the Dispatchable Unit Identifiers TORRB1, TORRB2, TORRB3 and TORRB4: 1. Adelaide City 2. Burnside 3. Campbelltown (SA) 4. Norwood – Payneham – St Peters 5. Prospect – Walkerville 6. Unley 7. Gawler – Two Wells 8. Playford 9. Port Adelaide – East 10. Salisbury 11. Tea Tree Gully 12. Holdfast Bay 13. Marion 14. Mitcham 15. Charles Sturt 16. Port Adelaide – West 17. West Torrens
