1 Name This instrument is the Net Zero Economy Authority (Torrens Island Power Station Trigger Notice) Instrument 2024.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 9(2) of the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.
4 Definitions
Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 5 of the Act, including the following: 1. National Electricity Rules; and 2. trigger notice.
In this instrument:
Act means the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.
Dispatchable Unit Identifier has the same meaning as in the National Electricity Rules.
5 Trigger notice specification
1. For the purposes of subsection 9(2) of the Act, the following is a trigger notice:
1. the notice given to the Australian Energy Market Operator under the National Electricity Rules clause 2.10.1(a)(2) advising a closure date of 30 June 2026 in relation to the following Dispatchable Unit Identifiers: 1. TORRB1 2. TORRB2 3. TORRB3 4. TORRB4
