1 Name This instrument is the Defence (Individual benefits) Determination (No. 1) 2025.

2 Commencement

1. Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. 3 Authority This instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.

4 Purpose The purpose of this Determination is to provide a member in unique circumstances with reimbursement of relocation costs on ceasing continuous full-time service.

5 Definitions In this Determination, the following apply. Decision maker means an employee of Toll Transitions who performs the duties of: 1. National Relocations Administration Services Manager. 2. Regional Relocations Manager. 3. Relocation Administration Services Manager. 4. Senior Case Manager. Defence Determination means the Defence Determination 2016/19, Conditions of service, as in force from time to time. Housing benefit location has the same meaning given by section 1.3.10 of the Defence Determination. Removal on ceasing continuous full-time service means a removal under Division 6 of Part 5 of Chapter 6 of the Defence Determination.
