1 Name This instrument is the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Exemption) Instrument (No. 1) 2025.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 37(1) of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
4 Definitions In this instrument: Determination means the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Air Conditioners up to 65kW) Determination 2019. exempt model: see section 5.
5 Exemption The model specified in clause 1 of Schedule 1 (the exempt model) is exempt from the requirements of the Determination as described at clause 2 of Schedule 1 with respect to the supplies of the exempt model specified at clause 3 of Schedule 1.
6 Repeal
This instrument is repealed 12 months after commencement.

Other requirements The identified model is exempted from the GEMS other requirements, which are set out in part 5 of the Determination.
