1 Name This instrument is the Defence (Individual benefits) Determination (No. 2) 2025.

2 Commencement

1. Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. 3 Authority This instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.

4 Purpose The purpose of this Determination is to provide a payment to a member to reconcile housing contributions as a result of unique personal circumstances and Service requirements.

5 Definitions In this Determination, the following apply. Defence Determination means the Defence Determination 2016/19, Conditions of service, as in force from time to time. Housing contribution period means the period between 1 December 2024 and 2 February 2025.
