1 Name This instrument is CASA EX22/25 — ATC Licence (AV Show Endorsements) (Exemptions from Currency Requirements) Instrument 2025.
2 Duration This instrument: (a) commences at the time of registration; and (b) is repealed at the end of 29 February 2028. Note For regulation 11.250 of CASR, the directions in section 6 cease to be in force at the end of 29 February 2028.
3 Definitions Note In this instrument, certain terms and expressions have the same meaning as they have in the Civil Aviation Act 1988 and the regulations. These include: air traffic control function and ATC licence. In this instrument: AA Licensing and Certificates Manual means ATS Licensing and Certificates Manual, prepared by Airservices Australia, ARN 202210, as existing from time to time. Airshow means the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition. Avalon airport means Avalon aerodrome, aerodrome certificate CASA.ADCERT.0010. AV Show endorsement means any of the following endorsements for an ATC licence referred to in the AA Licensing and Certificates Manual: (a) an aerodrome control endorsement; (b) a surface movement control endorsement; (c) a coordinator endorsement. Manual of Standards has the meaning given by regulation 65.010 of CASR. ML simulator means the Eurocat simulator that is: (a) operated by Airservices Australia; and (b) located in the Melbourne Air Traffic Services Centre; and (c) designed, amongst other things, to simulate a live operational environment for AV Show endorsement functions. seed assessor has the same meaning as it has in the AA Licensing and Certificates Manual. workplace assessor has the same meaning as it has in the Manual of Standards.
