Part 1—Preliminary
1 Name This instrument is the Social Security (Specified Programs) Instrument (No 1) 2025
2 Commencement This instrument commences at the start of the day after the day it is registered.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 1062A(1B) of the Social Security Act 1991.
4 Definitions
In this instrument: Act means the Social Security Act 1991. Note: Paragraph 13(1)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003 has the effect that expressions have the same meaning in this instrument as in the Social Security Act 1991 as in force from time to time.
5 Schedules Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Part 2—Specified programs
6 Specified programs (1) Under subsection 1062A(1A) of the Act, the making, varying or administering of an arrangement or grant under subsection 1062A(1) must be for the purposes of a program that is specified in an instrument under subsection 1062A(1B). (2) For the purposes of subsection 1062A(1A) of the Act, the following programs are specified:
