The Liquor (Amendment) Act 1905, which was passed for the purposes, amongst others, of making fresh provision for the control of the sale of liquor

make orders in respect thereof. Sec. 1 provides that the Act shall be " con- strued with the Liquor Act 1898" thereinafter referred to as the Principal Act.
Sec. 108 of the Liquor Act 1898 provided that '" Any person aggrieved by any adjudication ofa Licensing Court . . . madeunder this Act," subject to certain excepticns, may appeal to the Court of Quarter Sessions, which "shall have power to hear and determine the matter of the appeal in a
