Complaint is substantiated. Pursuant to s 45A of the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013 (NSW), the Appellant is appointed guardian ad litem in respect of her son's complaint. 2. Appeal allowed. 3. Set aside the orders of the Tribunal of 24 May 2023. 4. In substitution for the Decision and orders of the Tribunal, the Appeal Panel makes the following orders: (a) Pursuant to s 108(1)(b) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW), the Appeal Panel finds the complaint substantiated in whole. (b) The Respondent is ordered to pay the Appellant damages of $15,000 by way of compensation for loss or damage suffered by reason of the Respondent's conduct.
