DISPENSE with the rules for the preparation of the appeal books. DIRECT that the filing of 3 copies of the appeal papers in lever arch files containing the evidence and the exhibits shall be a sufficient compliance with the rules but that 5 copies should be filed of the bound appeal papers containing the pleadings, other formal documents, the reasons for judgment of the primary Judges and all pre-hearing directions by this Court.
DIRECT that a draft protocol for the preparation of the appeal papers for the use of the parties and the Court be served by the Solicitors for State Bank on the Solicitors for Swiss Bank on or before 4 pm on Friday, 10 December 1993.
DIRECT that the Solicitors for Swiss Bank serve on the Solicitors for State Bank on or before Wednesday 15 December 1993 a document setting out any amendments which the respondent considers should be made to the protocol submitted by State Bank.
DIRECT that on or before 4 pm on Friday 10 December, 1993 the solicitors for Swiss Bank serve on the solicitors for State Bank adocument setting out their view as to the way in which the grounds in their notice of contention can be conveniently grouped for purposes of argument at the hearing.
DIRECT that on or before 4 pm on Wednesday 15 December 1993 the solicitors for State Bank serve on the solicitors for Swiss Bank a document setting out any amendments which State Bank considers should be made to the proposal submitted by Swiss Bank.
DIRECT that detailed written submissions by State Bank in support of their grounds of appeal be served but not filed on or before 4 pm on Wednesday 30 March 1994.
