JUDGMENT:
In the Legal Profession Disciplinary Tribunal In the matter of Simon Konstantinidis Judgment
Before: Mr G. Molloy (Presiding Member), Mr A. Edgar and Rear Admiral G. Griffiths.
Appearances: Mr L.W. Pierotti, Solicitor, instructed by Mr F. Smith for the Law Society, and Mr G. James QC with Mr G.G. Farago instructed by Messrs Parish Patience for the Solicitor. Hearing date: 17 August 1992.
In August 1989 the Solicitor was a busy suburban practitioner. In fact, he was a very, very busy practitioner with a host of clients whose affairs required constant attention. Many of the matters on which the Solicitor was then engaged were complex commercial transactions, some of which involved the use of interpreters and all of which occupied precious professional time. The Solicitor was heavily pressed by his clients who required urgent professional attention to their particular affairs.
