The Solicitors' Statutory Committee In the matter of Kenneth Roy McQueeney Statement of Findings and Order
Before: Mr J.I. Einfeld (Chairman), Dr U. Gault and Miss A. Plotke, on 2 October 1990. Appearances: Mr M.I.J. Huntington appeared on behalf of the Law Society of New South Wales and to assist the Committee, instructed by Miss R. MacDougal. There was no appearance by or on behalf of the Solicitor.
This matter was referred to the Solicitors' Statutory Committee ("the Committee") pursuant to the provisions of s.76 of the Legal Practitioners' Act 1898 (as amended) ("the Act") by the Council of the Law Society of New South Wales ("the Law Society") for enquiry and investigation into the alleged professional misconduct of Kenneth Roy McQueeney ("the Solicitor") particulars of which are set out in the Schedule to the reference dated 3 June 1983.
