JUDGMENT: 1 This is an application for the approval by the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales of an enterprise agreement entitled The Steritech (Wetherill Park) Agreement 1999.
2 It is an agreement struck between the employer, represented by Ms Niall and the National Union of Workers, New South Wales Branch on behalf of the workers at the Wetherill Park site, represented by Ms Hughes.
3 The agreement contains an unusual clause which states: The agreement shall be read and interpreted wholly in conjunction with the Federal Ionising Processing (Irradiation) Award 1985 as at 6 April 1998 and provided where there is any inconsistency between the award and this agreement, this agreement shall take precedence to the extent of the inconsistency.
