JUDGMENT OF : McColl JA at 1; Howie J at 183; Buddin J at 184 DECISION : (1) Respondent given leave to appeal against severity of sentence but appeal dismissed. (2) Crown appeal against inadequacy of sentence allowed. (3) Quash the sentence below and in lieu thereof sentence the respondent to a term of imprisonment for 12 years to commence on 21 August 2002 with a non-parole period of 8 years, similarly to commence on 21 August 2002 and to expire on 20 August 2010.
