CITATION : Vella v Bechara [2004] NSWSC 408 HEARING DATE(S) : 10 May 2004 JUDGMENT DATE : 18 May 2004 JURISDICTION: Common Law JUDGMENT OF : Master Harrison DECISION : The Court orders: (1) Prior to the defendant releasing the file - (a) Ms Vella is required to pay the outstanding disbursements in the sum of $2,477.50; and (b) the plaintiff is required to furnish an irrevocable authority undertaking that she is to pay the defendant's reasonable costs and disbursements as agreed or assessed upon successful resolution of the plaintiff's workers compenstion claim and a further undertaking to protect the defendant's costs of the workers compensation files in the event the file is transferred to subsequent solicitors. (2) The plaintiff is to pay the defendant's costs as agreed or assessed.
