Reasons for Decision 1The Applicant has filed an application for review of a decision of Lake Macquarie City Council ("the Council"). The Applicant has identified conduct of the Council and asserts that the conduct was a breach of Information Protection Principles ("IPPs") contained within the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 ("the PPIP Act"). 2In these reasons the name of the Applicant has been anonymised so as to preserve the privacy of her personal affairs. The Applicant is referred to as NY. I have also limited my discussion of the evidence in order to avoid the possibility that the identities of individuals might be revealed.
