Parties should in particular note the time limit of fourteen days in Rule 36.16.] Catchwords: PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE- application for stay of judgment- appellants applied to have orders, including judgment sum of $12,000,000, stayed pending the hearing of an appeal due to their alleged impecuniosity- appellants displayed a lack of candour- evidence of complex series of family trusts- onus on applicant for stay to provide the material upon the basis on which the Court can fix the terms of the stay- although evidence suggested appellants did not actually possess the judgment sum they did not show that it was unavailable through the trusts- basis for stay application not made out- notice of motion dismissed.
