Appeal allowed; 2. Set aside orders (1) and (3) made by the Tribunal; 3. Order that the conduct of the legal practitioner, Philip Scroope, in the preparation of the narrative bill of costs resulting in the charging of Ms Meng of grossly excessive costs, constitutes unsatisfactory professional conduct within the meaning of the Legal Profession Act 2004; 4. The practitioner, Philip Scroope, is fined the sum of $2,000. That sum is to be paid within 28 days of the date of this decision; 5. Order that the respondent pay the appellant's costs of the appeal. [Note: The Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005 provide (Rule 36.11) that unless the Court otherwise orders, a judgment or order is taken to be entered when it is recorded in the Court's computerised court record system. Setting aside and variation of judgments or orders is dealt with by Rules 36.15, 36.16, 36.17 and 36.18.
