Judgment 1. HIS HONOUR: The plaintiff, the State of New South Wales, applied to this Court for a high risk violent offender extended supervision order against the defendant, John Raymond Holschier, under the Crimes (High Risk Offenders) Act 2006. A continuing detention order had initially been sought, but was not pressed. On 8 December 2014, I made an extended supervision order for 3 years with a number of conditions set out in a schedule. I undertook to give reasons later. These are those reasons.
