Medium Neutral Citation: R v Alameddine (No. 3) [2018] NSWSC 681 Hearing dates: 2 March 2018, 27 April 2018 Date of orders: 18 May 2018 Decision date: 18 May 2018 Jurisdiction: Common Law Before: Johnson J Decision: 1 For the offence under s.101.4(2) Criminal Code (Cth), the Offender is convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for a period of seven years and two months comprising a non-parole period of five years and three months commencing on 15 February 2016 and expiring on 14 May 2021 with a balance of term of one year and 11 months commencing on 15 May 2021 and expiring on 14 April 2023. 2 For the offence of supplying a pistol contrary to s.51(1A) Firearms Act 1996 (NSW), the Offender is convicted and taking into account the offences on the Form 1, is sentenced to imprisonment for 14 years and two months comprising a non-parole period of 10 years commencing on 15 August 2019 and expiring on 14 August 2029 with a balance of term of four years and two months commencing on 15 August 2029 and expiring on 14 October 2033. 3 The earliest date upon which the Offender will be eligible for consideration for release on parole is 15 August 2029.
