Heavy Vehicle (Transitional) National Regulation (NSW) (2014 SI 21a)
1 Short title This Regulation may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle (Transitional) National Regulation (NSW).
2 Commencement This Regulation commences in a participating jurisdiction— (a) if section 755 of the Law commences in the jurisdiction before 10 February 2014—on 10 February 2014; or (b) otherwise—immediately after the commencement of section 755 of the Law in the jurisdiction.
3 Modification of the operation of Pt 3.3 of the Law pending the commencement of s 84 of the Law—s 755 of the Law (1) The purpose of this section is to modify the operation of Part 3.3 of the Law pending the commencement of section 84 of the Law.
Note— See section 4 for the expiry of this Regulation. (2) Part 3.3 of the Law applies to any modification of a heavy vehicle, including the addition of components to, or the removal of components from, the vehicle.
4 Expiry This Regulation expires in a participating jurisdiction on the commencement of section 84 of the Law in the jurisdiction.
